Celebrating a Restaurant’s Anniversary

We enjoy commemorating anniversaries and creating unique gifts for celebrations.  An anniversary is truly a time to celebrate.  Our client commissioned us to create this custom Serving Tray to be presented to the proprietors of a restaurant in celebration of the restaurant’s anniversary.  Kiwiana, a chic bistro in Brooklyn, New York, recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary.  The ever adorable Kiwi of New Zealand takes center stage in this design.

Live Edge Commemoration Plaque

We enjoy making custom Commemoration Plaques for our clients.  We’ve been honored to be part of the design and creation of such unique pieces celebrating business ventures, military advancements, weddings, anniversaries, personal retirements, homecomings, home purchases, and precious baby births.

With so many reasons to celebrate, it’s a good thing that there isn’t an end to the styles and shapes which constitute a Commemoration Plaque.  They can be crafted from various materials — from Acrylic to Zebrawood, and so many in between.  Commemoration Plaques are an excellent means of expressing your creativity while celebrating a memorable milestone.  Your personalized Commemoration Plaque can be displayed on an easel or hung on a wall.

We were commissioned to create a one-of-a-kind Wedding Anniversary Plaque for our client’s parents’ 50th Wedding Anniversary.  This project had an endearing element in that the wood used in the creation was from a Maple tree which had at one time graced the couple’s property.  Our client relished the opportunity of retaining the live edge.

Personalizing Your Kentucky Clock

Our Kentucky Shaped Clock artistically conveys the outline of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  You can also order your Kentucky Shaped Wall Clock custom carved with your preferred text.

The clock pictured below was custom ordered to simply read “Home”.  For our client, temporarily living outside the Commonwealth of Kentucky, this subtle aide-memoire hinted to the time that he would someday return to Kentucky.

For another client, the Commonwealth of Kentucky is now home.  However, he didn’t wish to forget his birthplace in Canada.  Along with carving his surname, we incorporated the beautiful Maple leaf as a subtle reminder of his Canadian roots.

Gentleman’s Valet Tray

This Gentleman’s Valet Tray was created from domestic Cherry hardwood.  Our client appreciated the beauty and elegant detail of our oval Serving Trays and wanted to incorporate the same touches into a Gentleman’s Valet Tray.

With the addition of a custom carved monogram, we created a unique gift to sit atop her father-in-law’s dresser top or nightstand and hold his pocket accessories.  Handcrafted solid Cherry hardwood feet brought the finishing touches to this custom design.
